Do I have to finish in one sitting?
No. Save your work and return with the same account and binder password. The application saves during editing and when you move between sections. A visible status tells you whether changes have been saved.
What does the completion percentage mean?
Answered and Not applicable sections both count as complete. Still to do sections do not. The percentage tracks the questionnaire; it is not a measure of legal or financial readiness.
Is this a substitute for a will?
No. This is an information-organizing guide. Record the locations of formal documents and contact the appropriate professional about their preparation or effect.
Who can see my binder?
Only the signed-in owner can load their encrypted binder in this alpha. You can plan a separate permissions grid for each Legacy Contact, but shared access is not activated.
Are reminders and invitations sent?
No. Reminder preferences and contact details are saved, but no automatic email is sent in this alpha.
What if I forget my binder password?
Recovery is not available in this version. Use sample information and keep the password safe.
Can I print it?
Yes. Use PDF or Print at the top of an unlocked binder, even if it is unfinished. A blank PDF is also available for handwriting.
What happens if Legacy Binder closes?
We plan to arrange independent archival and escrow access for eligible completed, paid binders. This service has not been established, no provider has been appointed, and no retrieval guarantee is currently offered. Keep your own current PDF copy.
